Thrift on Purpose is a nonprofit thrift shop located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Shoppers will find gently used clothing, jewelry, furniture, household items, décor, books, toys, and much more in our shop.
Net profits from Thrift on Purpose support the peace, justice, and relief work of Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) in addition to needs in our local community. When you donate, shop, and volunteer, you provide food assistance, clean water, health care, education, and relief supplies to local and global neighbors.
We believe in the power of community and the impact of collective support. Every purchase and donation at Thrift on Purpose contributes to the empowerment of individuals and the betterment of communities.
Thrift On Purpose is a Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) partner nonprofit organization, committed to Christian faith in action, through supporting the primary goals of MCC. The mission of MCC is to share God’s love and compassion for all in the name of Christ by responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice. Additionally, Thrift on Purpose seeks to relieve poverty and assist those in need by selling merchandise, substantially all of which has been donated, and by providing funds to support the global programs of MCC.
